Lockdown

Lockdown begins from an annular form — essential, rigorous — crossed by a slow transformation of its surface. Small ceramic elements gather over the material little by little, altering its rhythm and creating an inner movement that seems to expand beyond the perimeter of the work. The central void remains the fulcrum of the composition, a space of equilibrium around which the form draws its strength. While preserving its geometric structure, the work lets a silent tension emerge between limit and growth, turning suspension into possibility.
